大学英语演讲稿范文（一）
Dear friends， imagine we are in such kind of society， when we lost something somewhere ， passers-by who see it don‘t take it away.And every night when we sleep we can leave the door open without worrying about the thieves. That’s a vivid picture of an ideal society Confucious drew thousands years ago.
Nowadays， we are also pursuing an ideal society， the harmonious society， which derived from the idea of our ancestors. The harmonious society in Chinese is “和谐社会”，the character”和”consists of two separate parts， the left one means crops and the right one means mouth ， puting together can be understood literally as “everyone has food”. The character”谐”to be comprehended in the same way is everyone can express his or her ideas .So we can say there are two key elements of harmonious society， ones is the prosperity of productivity， in other words， economy. And the other one is the freedom of speech， which is mainly effected by political system. To make further extension， to build a harmonious society， a scientific concept of economy and political system is a necessity.
For the former one ，there are so many aspects to consider about，but here I only want to stress the impact of environment on economy， which is more and more obvious recent years. Take water shortage for example， World Water Development Report of March 2009 quotes UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon noting :Because of water pollution， the risk of water scarcity is transforming peaceful competition into violence， and former World Bank Vice-President said“ although wars of this century were fought over oil， the wars of the next century will be fought over water.”We can imagine if that happens what kind of situation our economy will be. Countless lessons have provided us the wisdom to know that developing economy should under the prerequisite of protection of environment， as long as our humankind treat the enviroment harmoniously and develop economy scientifically， we will get an everlasting developiong economy.
For the latter one， freedom of speech is an important factor of harmonious society， it represents the adcance of a cociety. However， people whose words are controled by others will be harmful to the harmony of our country. Its government’s responsibility to set a scientific politic system to listen to different ideas，so as to protect and improve the harmony of our society. As it is described in the famous book The Crowd， written by French writer Gustave Le Bon: when people are in a group ，they are more easy to be influenced by others and tend to think emotionally rather than rationally.And the sense of staying in a group makes them easily out of control and even go to the extreme .An example can clearly demonstrate this characteristic of the population : In 7，14 ，1789， after the falling of Bastille Prison， the Paris people， who advocated human right and democracy ， whose rage had been roused by a number of rumors， beat the prison manager to death inhumanly， only to fund that there were merely 3 criminals in the prison. So the govenment must be alert that there are always some malicious people who want to take the advantage of citizens‘ freedom of speech to satisfy their own goals.
To prevent such things from happening， our government should make its policies more transparent， and instantly clean out its black sheep so as to win trust and support from the public. Only through this way can we easily maintain a clear sense of which direction we are going to and make sure that all effort being devoted to achieve a harmonious society.
Last but not least， a harmonious society must be a society in which every stream of culture can co-exist peacefully and have the space for constant development. That requires us have a scientific concept of development on culture as well.
To sum up ， only with the pillar of economy， political system and culture all keeping in healthy growth， can a sky of a harmonious society be firmly hold up eventually.

I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here， I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here， sour， sweet， bitter and hot.
I am from Province， which is far away from here. I often miss my Mum， friends， and relatives in my hometown. However， I can‘t see them very often. So loneliness always keeps me company. I am sad that I can’t be there with them.
Lucky for me， life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time，we can do many more things besides study， such as joining societies clubs， and taking part-time jobs. Such activities not only make our life more colorful， but also help us improve all kinds of skills. The university is a society miniature， what we learn here will benefit our future life.
Our path in life will not always be smooth. Setbacks can‘t be avoided. Failing an important exam， break up with boy or girl friend， or refused by a promising company， such setbacks are likely to get usdown. Sometimes we fell so frustrated that we even burst into tears.
Drinkin coke is wonderful， despite the undesirble consequent hiccups. It’s bitter， sour and peppery， but also sweet. And you‘ll even feel excited after gulping down a glass. A college experience is part of growing up. We cry， smile， fall in love， get hurt， leave， learn and then we become a better person. University life is like drinking coke. I’m experiencing it. And I know， I enjoy it！
